*NOTES :

*Bill Gates : World will deliver clean energy breakthrough within 15 years.
*1,3 Billion people don not have access to power.
*Cheap and clean energy to help the world's poorest families.

*Summary :
Bill gates has predicted researchers will “discover a clean energy breakthrough.
In Bill’s section of the letter, which is addressed to teenagers, the Microsoft founder and billionaire philanthropist argues it should be a development priority to deliver clean energy to the 1.3 billion people who do not have access to power.
He also stresses that the new power needs to be low carbon in order to tackle the risks presented by climate change. “If we really want to help the world’s poorest families, we need to find a way to get them cheap, clean energy,” he writes. “Cheap because everyone must be able to afford it. Clean because it must not emit any carbon dioxide - which is driving climate change.”
*Personal reflection :
In my opinion ,i think it's great to find new sources of energy, especially , cheap and clean energy. In this way they're not only finding a new energy source, they also are helping poor people to afford it, and saving the environment as well.

In 1992, the number of people immigrated to Australia is 107346.
And in 2002 the number is 88874.
For some countries the number of people that immigrated has been rising, and the opposite for other countries.

Home-schooled kids do better in tests

*home-schooled students perform better is NAPLAN tests !

A NSW Board of studies" analysis found the average NAPLAN scores of students who were educated at home were about 70 marks higher than the the NSW average, particularly in reading, grammar and punctuation, and numeracy.
.....
My Opinion ; It think this is 100% right!, because parents can teach their kids for longer time, and give them a bigger attention, so home home schooled kids can make a really impressive job, on NAPLAN tests.

*The number of home-schooled students in NSW is RISING !

The number of children taught at home has been rising in NSW, from 2800 student in 2012 to 3343 last year. But the number of Home-schooled students could be much higher after the state's first parliamentary   inquiry  into  home-schooling in 2014 heard many parents do not register their children with the board of studies.
......
My Opinion ; With the rising number of home-schooled kids, there would be a problem, more an more parents going to think that schools are not giving a good teaching,so i think the government should do something to stop people from thinking this way, and it should warn people about the home-schooling disadvantages.
