1975   Fairuz was awarded the golden medal of honer bythe king of Jordan
1994   Fairuz preformed at the Olympia in London, drawing over 6000 fans
1952   Fairuz had her first huge success with her song "itab"
1962   Fairuz's sales passed the 10 million mark and she became the first Arabian woman to achieve that after "um kolthum"
